Ella Blackhart is a writer who delves into the shadowy depths of human nature where the true monsters are often those that lie within the mask of a neighbour, friend or that one stranger everyone warned you about.
Her first publication was for the magazine "Thirteen" in which the ramifications of stranger danger and the 'it-will-never-happen-to-me' syndrome are highlighted. Lately, however, she discovered a fascination with bold and beautiful femmes fatales with an irresistible sexual allure that should never be taken at face value. For, if trapped in a predicament where there is no way out, their desire to survive will prevail with deadly consequences.
In an age where sitting in front of the television gives the impression that life is 2D, she believes the best motion pictures come from the images our minds create by simply following the rich flow of words from a book and not by watching other people having fun on the telly.
When not writing, Ella keeps busy reading and promoting books in her role as the Promotions Manager for Alternative-Read.com
British born Ella grew up in central Cambridge, surrounded by a wealth of historical detail that dates back nearly 2,000 years to Roman times. She can often be found spreading her time among the ancient University buildings and its famous colleges, museums, churches, and numerous cafés and shops. To get away from the hustle and bustle of life there is always a relaxing spot to be found with her name on, along the tranquil stretch of riverbank known as The Backs. For character viewpoints, it's a writers' dream. Everyone can be transformed into a pirate or a murderer with a little imagination. Some even without. Beware!
