My musical experience started in 1958 when my grandmother placed a cornet in my hands and I began playing. Throughout my life, I have taught myself to play the guitar, piano, organ, Concert C flute, and Native American Love Flute. I recorded two pieces on a cd called Prayer for Peace © 2001 and traveled the USA for approximately a year promoting and performing.

In 1966, family members gifted me with a set of the ever popular Nancy Drew books as well as some Trixie Beldon and Hardy Boys books. After that, I read every chance I got and that was never enough for me. Shortly afterwards I began writing poetry and short stories that I gifted to whichever person inspired them, never keeping a copy.

Writing for myself began in 1992 when I wrote my first animal fiction story entitled Meela © 1992. A sequel, Finding a New Home © 1992 quickly followed this. A few years later, I wrote another animal fiction story, Heart and Soul © 1997, which I tied into the others and two other versions of this story followed naturally Heart’s Story and Soul’s Story © 1997. In 1998, a friend talked me into trying my hand at erotica. I wrote one chapter of Shadow © 1998 to which a different friend’s comment was – “Very good, umm, excuse me while I go seduce my husband”.

In 1987, I trained to be a lecturer. Since that time, I have written and given more lectures than I could ever remember. After each lecture, I usually found myself swamped for upwards to an hour with people who wanted to tell me how the subject I chose affected them.

I began editing as a favor to writers I had met over the years in person and on the internet in 2006. They were amazed at the issues I found for them. Extasy Books, an online E-Book publisher, published the first writer I edited for sometime in 2006. Before too long, they also picked eleven of the others up as well. Each of those now have multiple books published. Dark Eden Publishers picked up another one in July of 2007. Two others have signed contracts, but have not told me with whom. Light Sword Publishing, and Outskirts Press, both PODs, have picked up the latest two in Sept. 2007. All of these publishers have commented on the great editing job done on these stories.

Out of all my passions, I enjoy editing the most. I love seeing the imagination of writers at work and being a part of it. My job is not to change a writer’s voice, rather to make the storyline as believable and as true to life as possible.

Currently, my rates are $1.25* a page with 250 words considered a page. This breaks down to .005 cents per word. Payable through Paypal.
